Terms and Conditions for CNC Machining

Quotations

A quotation remains valid for 45 days from the quoted date, unless Kintec notifies the customer of its voidance within this period, prior to order placement. In the event of voidance, Kintec reserves the right to issue a revised quote or decline to provide one. The customer is responsible for informing Kintec of any design changes made after the quoted design state, and failure to do so does not prevent Kintec from adjusting the order price. Kintec may, at its discretion, accept, re-quote, or decline an order with design changes, voiding the original quote if necessary. The CNC part quote is based on the dimensions stated in the quote, and the customer is responsible for verifying their conformity with the intended part design.

Pricing & Payment Terms

All prices are quoted and payments must be made in U.S. dollars. Parts payment terms are prepaid with the order. Accepted payment methods include wire transfer, ACH, check, and credit/debit cards through PayPal (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover). A 2.98% processing fee applies to credit card payments through PayPal. Terms may be adjusted for established customers in good standing with approved credit.

CNC Manufactured Parts

CNC manufactured parts are based on customer-supplied 3D CAD data, which takes precedence over any conflicts with 2D dimensional or geometric data. Standard tolerances are +/- 0.005” for machined plastic parts and +/- 0.002” for machined metal parts. Tolerances are not guaranteed, and tighter tolerances may incur additional charges. Depending on load conditions or other factors, CNC plastic parts may be milled from multiple blocks and bonded together.

The customer is responsible for compliance with applicable China. laws or the laws of the associated country/locality regarding the use of the parts. The customer certifies that the submitted 3D CAD data will not produce products violating China security laws or international government laws. Kintec is not liable for violations resulting from the manufacturing, delivery, or use of customer-provided designs.

Warranties

Kintec assumes no responsibility or liability for the design of products resulting from this transaction. The customer has 30 days from receipt to review part conformity with the approved model. Failure to notify Kintec within this period constitutes acceptance, and returns will not be accepted. If within the 30-day period, the customer may request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Kintec may, at its discretion, replace the parts or issue a credit, but will not be responsible for return shipping or part scrappage costs.

Limitation of Liability

Seller is not liable for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from breach of warranty, breach or repudiation of any term or condition, negligence, strict liability, or other causes.

Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify Kintec, its employees, agents, and representatives from liabilities, claims, damages, and expenses arising from any breach of this agreement or acts of omission related to customer performance. Customer will indemnify and hold Kintec harmless from any claim that the parts violate patents or proprietary rights. Delivery, Risk of Loss, and Force Majeure

Kintec is not responsible for diverse conditions preventing product delivery. Delays, damages in transit, or failure to give notice of delays do not warrant cancellation. Delivery occurs Ex Works on the shipping date, with the risk of loss and title transfer to the customer upon shipment release. Kintec is not responsible for failure or delay due to forces beyond its control, using reasonable efforts to resume performance promptly.

Delivery, Risk of Loss, and Force Majeure

Kintec is not accountable for diverse conditions hindering the timely delivery of products to customers. Additionally, Kintec cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery, damages occurring in transit, or the failure to provide notice about delivery delays. Kintec endeavors to keep customers informed of any delays that may arise. Delays, however, do not constitute valid reasons or grounds for order cancellation. Delivery takes place Ex Works on the shipping date, with the risk of loss and title transferring to the customer upon the release of the shipment from Kintec to the shipping service.

Under no circumstances shall Kintec be held responsible or liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations arising from forces beyond its control, whether directly or indirectly caused. These forces include, but are not limited to, strikes, work stoppages, accidents, acts of war or terrorism, civil or military disturbances, nuclear or natural catastrophes, acts of God, and interruptions, loss, or malfunctions of utilities, communications, or computer (software and hardware) services. It is understood that Kintec will exert reasonable efforts to promptly resume performance under such circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

If the project is canceled by Kintec or the customer, Kintec assesses a prorated cancellation fee based on the percentage of project completion. The fee includes accumulated material costs associated with the project.
