KinTec places the utmost importance on safeguarding the confidentiality of customer information. We commit to treating personal/company information, CAD files, quotes, and orders with the highest level of confidentiality. 

Employee Obligations

Our employees understand that files and information submitted to KinTec may contain proprietary and/or intellectual property, and they are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of such data. KinTec pledges not to disclose confidential information or uploaded files to any external individuals or corporate entities beyond KinTec and its licensed partnerships.

Document Management Protocol

Upon the customer’s written request, KinTec will delete or erase all electronic data (CAD files) from its computer systems, excluding electronically archived or backed-up data that cannot be accessed through normal means. 

All printed and electronic documents related to the customer’s confidential and proprietary information will be destroyed upon the customer’s written request, unless the electronic data cannot be readily accessible. KinTec will provide confirmation to the customer that all electronic data and paper documents have been appropriately destroyed or erased.

Rigorous Security Measures

KinTec employs reasonable and appropriate security measures, including physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, in compliance with applicable security requirements, including US federal and state regulations. 

We utilize computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption and implement strict physical access controls to our buildings and files. Personal information access is authorized only for employees requiring it to fulfill their job responsibilities. Credit card information is transferred exclusively through PayPal, one of the world’s most trusted and secure funds transferring services.

Customer Information Sharing and Privacy Control

Under certain circumstances, we may share customer information with service providers under contract for business operations, companies merging with or acquiring KinTec, or other third parties with the customer’s consent. 

This may also occur if necessary to comply with laws or regulations, respond to valid subpoenas, orders, or government requests, or to protect the rights of KinTec or others. Customers can modify their personal information through their KinTec Online Account Management page.

Website Usage

Users of the KinTec website are granted a limited and non-exclusive license for utilizing the offered services. KinTec reserves the right to refuse registration to anyone for any reason. Uploading harmful software, malware, spyware, Trojan Horses, or viruses to KinTec or its affiliated websites, web portals, applications, or partner sites is strictly prohibited. Any abuse or misuse of the granted website license may result in the termination of the relationship with KinTec, leading to the discharge and termination of licenses and accounts. Termination may occur for breaches of the agreement terms or if KinTec cannot authenticate provided information.

Data Retention

Customer-uploaded data is retained by KinTec for the sole purpose of using it for the customer’s intended purposes, specifically for building injection molding tools and parts. This data is shared only with manufacturing partners if KinTec utilizes them for tooling or parts manufacturing, and strict nondisclosure agreements are in place. KinTec reserves the right to delete this information at any time, for any reason.
